Jonathan's Story
Jonathan began his healthcare career in 1995 as a Radiology clerk while studying Respiratory Therapy. He started providing patient care as a Respiratory Therapist at a small West Virginia hospital, where he worked alongside physicians and nurses managing the needs of patients with pulmonary, cardiac and renal disease. Early in his career he gained experience in Pulmonary and Cardiac diagnostic testing, Emergency Room care, Intensive Care, In-patient care and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. During this time he also gained experience serving patients in the home health care industry educating patients and their families on disease management and home medical equipment use.
After the passing of the Balanced Budget Act of 1997, Jonathan was recruited by a local Skilled Nursing Facility. This role required him to implement policies and the framework required by the legislation to ensure Federal compliance and reimbursement. The policies and documentation standards he set allowed for a successful transition to the new Prospective Payment System (PPS).
Jonathan later relocated to northeast Florida where he has worked in many of the local hospital systems, serving the area for the past 24 years. In the time spent living and raising a family in northeast Florida, he has delivered patient care in local hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, outpatient diagnostic testing labs, physician's offices, Intensive Care Units, Open Heart Recovery Units, Emergency Rooms and Neonatal Intensive Care Units.

When not helping fellow Floridians find the best coverage for his clients, he enjoys his time with his family. His favorite activities include practicing baseball with his son, golf, fishing, pickleball and occasionally karaoke.
